Many many thanks to Alain GARROS who sent all these photos which appeared in the July 1963 issue of the long-defunct french magazine 'Disco-Revue'. Jean-Claude Berthon was the editor at the time and he got these shots from a British photographer named Philip Gotlop. These photos were printed in low quality black & white in the mag - but we do know that they were taken in color. Sadly, Mr. Gotlop died many years ago and his widow confirmed to Tony Barrett (of RockStar Records) that the original negatives had been destroyed... And there were 32 of them.
But color prints do exist, so the search continues.
