EDDIE COCHRAN ON STAGE

There are some great photos of Eddie and his guitar here. Most of the photos here are kept safe in photo books. The photos were quickly scanned from the photo books and then put back safely. Eddie's guitar is still being sold today, and is produced by The Gretsh Company. It is Gretsch model G6120EC and has the hollow body sound that is unmistakeable. It has quite a story behind it as it was played even after his untimely death. The guitar was impounded in Witshire shortly after the accident. A police officer used it to teach himself how to play. The officers name was David Harman however he had changed his name to David Dee. His band became the start of the British Invasion although he never became really successful. |
